U.S. Soldiers in Japanese Prisoner of War Camp

Oh my Lord, Diary. I earnestly want to skin the entire Japanese alive. They are most treacherous, bloody, hazardous creatures in this entire world. On the first day of 1943, I carefully walked out of my rat house-like room, filled with about ninety people, so that I could meet the bloody woman and escape from this hell. Then, I silently went to the promised place. She was already there, shivering in cold. She made a gesture that I needed to give my precious thing first, so I put my fingers into my dry mouth and gave the ring to her. With the grimace at the disgusting odor of ring, she snatched the ring and started to run. I put all of my strength to catch her, but I couldn’t. I have no strength. Even walking makes me gasp. I think I walk even slower than a three year old crawling. Seriously, diary, this is how all the Western prisoners act like and how the devil Japs made us to look like. They are literally thin zombie with human brain. Anyhow, I tried to commit suicide that night because I knew what consequences would be like if I tried to escape. However, I resisted from cutting my wrist. I had a hope of going back to my country. The good news is that my earnest dream -returning to England- will soon come true because Japanese Empire is finally facing DOWNFALL! A year ago, our honorable U.S. air forces attacked the central military and industrial base in Tokyo; I knew this from the Japanese officer, who appeared out of nowhere and clubbed me. While he was beating me up, he angrily said in both Japanese and English, “ You, white creature, will be clubbed by the number of Japanese citizens dead due to your friend’s air raids in Tokyo, so thank your companion in Yankee land.” At that moment, I could not hide my joy. As the number increases, I prayed to god to thank him for taking so many Japanese lives away. Also, not long ago, I heard good news from one of the recently arrived American soldiers. He said Japan lost her only ally, Germany and the situations in her land were very devastating. The cities were ruined; People had starved every day and night. Then he added, a month ago, the United States dropped an atomic bomb, which is a bomb that killed 200,000 people and could cause deadly diseases, on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. With a joyful smile on his face, he said “ Fellow, you could return back to your homeland. The Japanese are thinking about surrendering.” As soon as I heard, the word “Japan surrenders”, I bowed down to him, the messenger from the heroic country. Diary, soon, there will be a “new life” to me and my nation. British will return back his glory of being a powerful European country. We would learn from our mistake - underestimating growing power and not preparing for a plausible situation and helping Japs, potential enemy, to develop. Also, without having a war, we could make Japs feel that we are superior to them. How? Well... developing in terms of technology would help us to show them how we are better than Japanese. Although I despise the Japanese, I would not fight them again, or really skin them alive. Having a war with another human and imprisoning other races in their own prison camp is not a thing that a human being should do, seriously. Now, I’m waiting for the Japanese guards to punish me, but I’m not afraid.
